Comedian Joe Piscopo Hospitalized for Not Using Bathroom
(December 16, 2005 - nonewswire.com) Comedian Joe Piscopo was hospitalized today for refusing to use the restroom for over 72 hours straight because his union rep, according to Piscopo, said "I couldn't go pee or do number 2 until he says I can."

"There's consequences to not urinating for over 72 hours straight," said a hospital administrator. "But you've got to admire the man. He's loyal to his union and would rather die than ever do something they say he can't do. He doesn't want to piss them off."

The administrator added that Piscopo might die if he doesn't pee soon. He's making a plee to the union to allow Piscopo to use the bathroom.

"Piscopo does what we say when we say it," said a union leader who was leaving the golf course in his 2006 Ferarri late this afternoon. "If I tell Piscopo to bark like a dog and eat Alpo then he will bark like a dog and eat Alpo."

When asked about not letting Piscopo MC a charity event he had already committed to, the union leader commented, "we are the charity."

Piscopo is said to be in the fetal position on his hospital bed, clutching his phone tightly waiting for permission to pee.

Reason for Satire:
In the season 4 finale of The Apprentice, comedian Joe Piscopo had agreed to MC a charity event to help the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Less than 24 hours before the event, Piscopo calls and cancels saying that his "union won't let him" do the event.

How embarassing to cancel out of a charity fundraiser for an important cause. Piscopo and the union both made poor decisions, making them look bad in the public eye. Does the union have something against AIDS? Is Piscopo not a big enough man to honor his commitment to a charity event?
